What are the requirements to exhibit my artwork at Artsgallery.co.za?
NO requirement. Artsgallery.co.za is for all artists who do or do not have gallery representation. No previous gallery experience required.


Once my application has been accepted by Artsgallery.co.za, how do I submit my artwork?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . The images must be high quality Jpg (JPEG) files, in focus and true to the color of the art.


What are the costs involved to exhibit my work for sale at Artsgallery.co.za?
NO monthly or yearly costs and commission on art will kept to the minimum (15-25%). 


How do I exhibit my artwork at Artsgallery.co.za?
For Artsgallery.co.za's representation you need to complete the Application form and attach 4 x digital images of your work (which we will review) and mail it to This email address is being protected from spambots. IMPORTANT, also include the name and sizes of each painting and medium/s used on canvas or board!


How is my art priced?
Artwork is priced using your input. Artsgallery.co.za will also assist in pricing artwork. Artists are to include the desired asking price when submitting digital images of their work for their portfolio. Artsgallery.co.za will assist you in pricing the art to both the artist and Artsgallery.co.za satisfaction and most important the clients satisfaction. Art priced to high or to low will NOT sell.


How do I know and what do I do when my artwork is sold?
Artsgallery.co.za will send you an email and / or contact you telephonically notifying you of the sale. In order to protect your art work and all parties involved and cancel any possible blame shift we suggest that the artists do their own wrapping, packaging and shipping. However we can and will be able to assist you in this process and discuss packaging and shipping the art on your behalf.


May I sell the same photograph more than once?
Yes, each copy must be signed in a visible location once the piece is matted and framed.


Is there commission on the sale of my artwork?
Yes. As an essential part of promoting the artists a fair and reasonable commission is "added" on the sale of each piece of art sold, BUT NOT influencing the artist's desired price. Commissions and some monthly fees are allocated for admin, salaries, and promotional activities such, advertising and marketing etc.


What do I do if I sell a piece of art independently that is currently exhibited at Artsgallery.co.za?
Notify us immediately. We will post a sold sign on the painting and might after a set period of time remove the image from Artsgallery.co.za.


How do I get paid once my art is sold?
Once we received / confirmed payment from the client we will do an EFT into your bank account within 48 hours.


How will my artwork be marketed?
With the monthly contribution / fee and commission we earn we market your work through various marketing methods e.g. Print, "Marketing campaigns" and online advertising etc.


May I seek other online gallery's representation once I exhibit my work at Artsgallery.co.za?
To prevent chaos and the risk of selling the same piece of art to two different parties, Artsgallery.co.za has the exclusive right to market the artwork displayed on the website. To increases the exposure of your art we encourage you to pursue physical gallery representation while exhibiting on our site.
